Lyons PR Recognized by PRSA for PSA Campaign on behalf of Educators Nationwide
Strategic broadcast PR firm Lyons PR was recognized by the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) for excellence in Public Service Announcements with a 2017 Bronze Anvil Award of Commendation. This award, given annually for more than 45 years by the nation’s largest professional organization serving the communications community, celebrates the “best of the best” in public relations tactics.
Working on behalf of the National Education Association, the nation’s largest professional employee organization, representing 3 million elementary and secondary teachers, higher education faculty, education support professionals, school administrators, retired educators and students preparing to become teachers, Lyons PR scripted, recorded, produced and distributed the PSA campaign to outlets around the country.
The winning PSA campaign, entitled “Tips for a Great School Year,” was acknowledged for its planning, creativity, technical excellence and results.
“It is truly an honor to be singled out once again for one of our PSA campaigns,” said Lyons PR president Dan Lyons. “This recognition means quite a bit as it provided an opportunity for us to support educators around the country who give so much to their communities.”
